Red Hawk is a Spiced Botanical Cider -- which includes ciders with any combination of culinary spices, flowers, rose hips, hibiscus, fruit peels/zest (but not juice), and the like.

 

Ingredients
Fermented Apple Juice – crafted from fresh, estate-grown Apples, Hibiscus Flowers, &  Natural Spices.

 

Production Method

Traditional cool, slow fermentation to reduce loss of delicate aromas.

 

Aging

None, bottled early spring.
 

Aroma/Flavor
The cider character is present in Red Hawk and fits with the spices.

 

Appearance
Brilliant, ruby red color, appropriate to the ingredients.

 

Mouthfeel
Distinctive mouthfeel. Cider is slightly tannic from effect of added ingredients, but is not bitter from over-extraction.
